Sightseeing tour of Mahabalipuram visiting shore temple, five Rathas (stone cut chariots), Arjuna's penance (World's largest Bas relief), Cave temple etc. Day 03: Mahabalipuram - Tanjore. Upon arrival check in to pre booked hotel. Day 04: Tanjore. Tanjore is the city of Chola rulers and bears their stamp in array of temples finely sculptured and carved, the most prominent one being the Brihadeswara Temple, rising to a height of 92 metres. Day 05: Tanjore - Madurai. Upon arrival check in to pre booked hotel. Day 06: Madurai. City tour of Madurai visiting Meenakshi Temple, Mariamman's Tank, Thirumala Nayak Palace etc. Day 07: Madurai - Periyar. Check in to pre booked hotel.  Day 08: Periyar boat ride on Periyar Lake to view wild life. Day 09: Periyar - Kottayam - Kumarakom. Check in to pre booked hotel at Kumarakom. Backwater cruise and sightseeing. Day 10: Kumarakom - Cochin. Upon arrival check in to pre booked hotel. Day 11: Cochin. City tour of Cochin visiting Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue (the oldest in the commonwealth), St. Francis Church (the first church built by Europeans in India), Chinese Fishing Nets etc. Day 12: Cochin - Ooty. Check in to pre booked hotel. Day 13: Ooty. Sightseeing tour visiting Botanical gardens, Doddabetta (the highest peak), Mukurti peak, Lake etc Day 14: Ooty - Mysore. Check in to pre booked hotel.  Day 15: Mysore.City tour of Mysore visiting the Maharaja's Palace - the palace built in Indosaracenic style is profusely decorated and gilded, Chamundeshwari Temple, Zoological Gardens, the Cauvery Art and Craft Emporium and Brindawan Gardens. Day 16: Mysore - Hassan. Sightseeing tour of Hassan visiting the famous temples of Belur and Halebid. The temples at Belur and Halebid which remained incomplete despite 80 years of labour, was the offerings of the finest workmanship in stone to the gods. The intricately sculptured decoration on the temple accordingt to some critics are even better than the friezes at Konark in Orissa and Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh. The temple at Halebid, the capital of the Hoysalas was started 10 year after the Belur Temple at Belur Channakeshava Temple is the only one of the three Hoysala sites which is still used for workship. Halebid today is a rural village and Belur a small town and the temples are only testimony to their past glory. Day 17: Hassan - Bangalore. Upon arrival check in to pre booked hotel. City tour of Bangalore visiting Vidhan Soudha, Lal Bagh Gardens, Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace etc.  Day 18: Bangalore - Goa.Upon arrival transferred to pre booked hotel. Day 19: Goa. Day free at leisure on the beach. Day 20: Goa - Delhi. Upon arrival transferred to pre booked hotel. Day 21: Leave Delhi. Departure transfer to airport to board flight back home.
