01: Delhi - Hyderabad trf to hotel. Day 02: Hyderabad Sightseeing tour of Charminar - the city's symbol has four minarets that is why the name, Mecca Masjid - one of the grandest mosque built, Salarjung Museum - Houses the single largest collection ever made by one man, Mir Yusuf Jung - Prime Minister of Nizam of Hyderabad, Sri Venkateshwara Temple, Faluknuma Palace - a grand palace, Hussain Sagar - Hyderabad's largest lake and Golconda Fort. Day 03: Hyderabad - Bijapur check in at pre booked hotel. The great monuments built by the muslim rulers of Bijapur, the Adil Shah Sultans are masterpieces of Islamic architecture. They represent a contrast to the region Hindu Temples but none the less makes a powerful impact. Standing on the formidable fort walls is the great cannon known as the Malike Maidan. The Muhammad Adil Shah III is also an acoustical marvel. Day 04: Bijapur - Badami check in at hotel Day 05: Badami . Badami is famous for its exquisite 6th century A.D. Hindu and Jain Cave Temples. Also known as Vatapi it is a los of Badami, is the well known 18 armed Nataraja who strikes 81 dance poses. Day
06: Badami - Hampi. Check in at hotel. Hampi the 14th century capital city of the Vijayanagara empire lies in the Deccan Heartland, In the state of Karnataka. The ruins spread over an area of more than 26 sq, kms. Protected by the tempestuous river Tungabhadra in the north and by Rocky granite stones on other three sides there is a magical quality to the ruins of Havely land with the Hindu and Jain temples carved out of sandstone hills, beneath which is the ancient Bhuthanatha Lake. The masterpiece in the famous cave templempi even 650 years after the empire of Krishna - Devaraya disintegrated. Among the places of interest are Vittala Temple, Purandara Mandapa, the sule and Humpi Bazaars, Lotus Mahal and the Queen's bath. Day 07: Hampi - Bangalore. Day 08: Banglore - Delhi Upon arrival in Delhi you are met and transferred to your prebooked hotel. Afternoon combined city tour of Old and New Delhi visiting Rashtrapati Bhawan - The official residence of the President of India, India Gate - (The war memorial) A monument dedicated to the soldiers who became martyrs during the second world war, Bahai Temple. Humayun's Tomb - A fore runner to Taj Mahal, constructed by Haji Begum, Qutub Minar - One of the tallest stone tower (minarete) in India, Red Fort - Built by the great Mugha;l emperor Shahjehan in red sandstone, Jama Masjid - This historic mosque is one of the largest mosque of its kind in India and Raj ghat - The cremation ground of Mahatma Gandhi. Transfered to airport for back home. |
