01: Arrive Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi you are met and transferred to your pre booked hotel. Combined city tour of Old and new Delhi visiting Rashtrapati Bhawan - The official residence of the President of India, India Gate - (The war memorial) A monument dedicated to the soldiers who became martyrs during the second world war, Bahai Temple. Humayun's Tomb - A fore runner to Taj Mahal, constructed by Haji Begum, Qutub Minar - One of the tallest stone tower (minarete) in India, Red Fort - Built by the great Mughal emperor Shahjehan in red sandstone, Jama Masjid - This historic mosque is one of the largest mosque of its kind in India, and Raj Ghat - The cremation ground of Mahatma Gandhi. Day 02: Delhi - Jaipur. Upon arrival check in to your pre booked hotel.  Day
03: Jaipur.Full day city tour of Jaipur visiting the City Palace or Chandra Mahal - converted as a museum, Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), Jantar Mantar - The Royal observatory built by the Maharaja Jai Singh, Excursion to Amber Fort (The Massive Citadel on the Hill) highlighted by an elephant ride upto the entrance of the fort. The fort is a living example of the grandeur and majesty of the Rajput kings. Day 04: Jaipur-Agra enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri. Upon arrival in Agra check in to your pre booked hotel. Day 05: Agra. Sunrise visit to Taj Mahal and later city tour of Agra visiting Agra Fort an Itmad-ud-Daula etc. Day 06: Agra-Khajuraho. Upon arrival met and transfer to your pre booked hotel. Temple tour of Khajuraho visiting eastern and western group of temples.  Day
07: Khajuraho - Varanasi. Upon arrival met and transferred to your pre booked hotel. Excursions to Sarnath - it was in the Deer Park at Sarnath, 10 kms from Varanasi, that Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon. It was at Sarnath he set forth , for the first time, the Wheel of Law, according the centre is an important pilgrimage point for all Buddhists. Day 08: Varanasi. Early morning boat ride on river Ganges enables one to observe the ritual being performed by the devotees on the banks. Later city tour of Varanasi visiting the ghats -sacred steps running down into Ganges River, Bharat mata Temple is unioque and is dedicated to the nation instead of deities' statues, it houses one of the most perfect relief maps of India carved out of marble. Vishweshwara Temple-dedicted to Lord Shiva. Benaras Hindu University - A centre of education in Indian art, culture and music. Day 09: Kathmandu . Tour of Kathmandu visiting Swayambunath- the oldest Stupa in Nepal , Baudhnath-ancient Tibetan Stupa, and Pashupatinath- a sacred Hindu Temple and sacred spot for cremations etc.  Day
10: Kathmandu.Morning visit to Dakishn Kali and later excursion to Patan etc. Day 11: Kathmandu - Delhi. Upon arrival met and transferred to your pre booked hotel. Day 12: Leave Delhi. Departure transfer to airport to board flight for onward journey. |
