01: Delhi.Upon arrival in Delhi you are met and transferred to your prebooked hotel. Afternoon combined city tour of Old and New Delhi visiting Rashtrapati Bhawan - The official residence of the President of India, India Gate - (The war memorial) A monument dedicated to the soldiers who became martyrs during the second world war, Bahai Temple. Humayun's Tomb - A fore runner to Taj Mahal, constructed by Haji Begum, Qutub Minar - One of the tallest stone tower (minarete) in India, Red Fort - Built by the great Mugha;l emperor Shahjehan in red sandstone, Jama Masjid - This historic mosque is one of the largest mosque of its kind in India and Raj ghat - The cremation ground of Mahatma Gandhi. Day 02: Delhi - Madras. Upon arrival met and transferred to pre booked hotel. City tour visiting Fort St. George, St. Mary's Church, Santhome Cathedral - The remains of St. Thomas were kept here, government museum, Kapaleeshwarar Temple, Anna Zoological Park, and Marine Beach - The most prominent feature of Madras and the second longest longest beach in the world, which runs from the harbour in the north to the Cathedral in the South. Day
03: Madras.Excursion to Mahabalipuram. Day 04: Madras - Madurai. Upon arrival in Madurai, met and transferred to pre booked hotel. Later, city tour of Madurai visiting the Meenakshi temple with its ten towering Gopurams and rare sculptures raised by the Nayaks who ruled Madurai from the 16th century to the middle of the 18th century is the focal point of the city, and the first glimpse of the city is one of the magnificient Gopurams of Madurai, Tirumalai Naicker Palace, Mariamman Tank and the Hall of Thousand pillars. Day 05: Madurai - Periyar. Upon arrival check in at your pre booked hotel. Boat ride on the Lake Periyar to view wildlife. Day 06: Periyar - Kumarakom check in at hotel. Day
07: Kumarakom - Cochin. Upon arrival in check in at hotel. Day 08: Cochin. Full day city tour of Cochin visiting Jewish Synagogue - The oldest synagogue in the entire commonwealth. St. Francis Church, St, Mary's Cathedral Cochin Harbour, Terminus, Chinese Fishing Nets, Mattancherry Dutch Palace built by the Portugese is known for its murals depicting scenes palanquins used by Cochin's erstwhile rulers. Evening Kathakali dance show. Day 09: Cochin - Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi transfer from domestic to international airport to board flight for onward journey.
